With an estimated number of 191 million speakers around the globe, Portuguese is on number eighth most spoken language in the world. The reason behind this is that Portuguese were explorers and colonized many countries spreading it’s language around the world like Brazil, Macau, Angola, Venezuela and Mozambique.

7. BENGALI (211 million)

Bengali is another widely spoken language, which is spoken by over 211 million people around the world in 2015.
